Clínica de Ojos in Maracaibo, was founded on March 5th of 1965, and opened to the public October 3rd of 1966. It's an institution planned for the development of ophthalmic professional activities, and exclusively dedicated to attend ocular diseases. It´s the first specialized ophthalmic clinic, pioneer in its field and the most complete in its genre in Venezuela for over 50 years.
Annually we take care of approximately 40.000 patients, practice 6.400 surgical procedures and laser treatments, and service over a 150 doctors. Accomplish this on a daily basis, puts us as leaders of the ophthalmic service in our country.
Clinica de Ojos has extensive facilities with over 7.217 square ft, with gardens, 3 parking lots, diagnostic department, waiting rooms, surgical wards, medical offices, and administrative areas.
Our medical wards are equipped with all the optical and surgical instruments needed to practice every type of eye procedure to our patients.
All of our surgeries are out door procedures, making it easier for our patients to undergo surgery and be released the same day, under medical approval, to start their recovery at home under the best post op conditions.
